MK
Series Tools Provide Pneumatic Cut, Bend or Swage
The Elite MK Series pneumatic hand tools cover a number
of options: cut and bend, cut and swage, or cut
only. All are designed for post component assembly
prior to soldering. These tools are lightweight and
offer ergonomic design preventing operator fatigue.
Unlike side cutters, the off-cuts from these tools drop
to the PCB, eliminating flying lead waste. The MK-3
tools feature exclusive trigger activated, scissor-type
blades, manufactured of 60C Rockwell hardened tool steel,
and won't scrape leads or mark circuit boards. MK-3
tools provide cut and bend (or cut only) of component
leads in a single stroke; the tapered head giving access
to even the most densely populated underboard
areas. MK-6 tools feature
exclusive trigger activated, V-type blades, swage the
lead to typically twice the wire diameter (ensuring
component retention) or cut leads flush to the PCB after
soldering. All tools are ergonomically designed, thus
eliminating operator fatigue, and also helping to prevent
carpal tunnel syndrome.

360°
Turnover PCB Assembly System
These rugged, self-contained assembly fixtures combine a
heavy duty, tilt-proof base, adjustable 3-rail PCB frame
and a dual snap-lock foam padded cover and are available
in two sizes with 482x228mm (19" x 9") or
610x406mm (24" x 16"); capacity. Both
models offer full 360° rotation for "start to
finish" assembly and processing of PC boards
(component insertion through manual soldering).
Three movable PCB holding rails adjust easily and
offer the capacity to assemble both multiple small and
single large boards. Parts are inserted,
immobilized, and rotated 180° for clinching and/or
soldering, then returned to their original position for
removal of the finished PCB. Frame locks at 15°,
30°, or 45° front and back. A foam pad prevents
component fallout. Choose from standard,
conductive, or silicon-treated, solder-safe foam padded
covers.
